My approach to this project was based on my experiences with the music genre of choice. After some research and sketching, I was able to pinpoint how I wanted to design this poster.
For this project, I delved into the tactile requirement and approached it in a way that would incorporate both elements so that they would work together.
Most of my materials were made up of tools like X-ACTO Knives, a cutting mat, black foam boards, glossy cardstock, and some pencils.
Getting to the sketching phase allowed me to explore different options in how I could convey both my style and chosen artist.
